After a long day of working, My fiancée and I arrived late to the Holiday Inn Mystic - Groton Area for a two night stay. We were kindly greeted by the overnight auditor. A quick and efficient check-in with good conversation was followed by a wonderful, spacious, clean room. the bed was soft and was large enough that my fiancée and I had plenty of room to sprawl out. We placed a Do not disturb sign on our door which was honored by the housekeeping department. Breakfast each morning was a great way to start our day. Located across from Old Mystic Village and Mystic Aquarium, we had plenty to do. As I travel a lot this was a great hotel and I will be staying here when I am in the mystic area.

Stayed here for 30 days to complete required nights for lounge access.. Staff was very accommodating, kind and helpful especially Diana, front desk. Rooms cleaned daily and breakfast was good. Loved hanging out in the lobby as it is spacious and bright. With a fireplace and tv. As it is December, the village across the street is decorated with Christmas themed lights which is beautiful at night. Recommend and will stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by the desk rep. Very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Pillows and sheets were top-notch. A wall lamp was in need of some maintenance as it was missing some of the wall screws but was still useable. The room was big and well appointed. Breakfast was good and items were promptly refilled when getting low. Overall happy with this property. Nice location near restaurants and things to do.

Honestly we have often stayed in Mystic at other hotels. This time they were all booked. We were not pleased by the high price of your location. But we were totally pleased by everything else. We arrived earlier than expected and are seniors who were exhausted. Your desk clerk did everything he could to get us a room as quickly as possible. The room was as clean as possible and very comfortable. The clerk even helped us with directions and suggestions for local establishment s. The morning clerk the next day was equally as nice and helpful.

I wasn't expecting much from this stay, really just needed a clean place for an overnight stay, but this hotel exceeded all expectations, especially based on past experiences with other hotels. The room was very large and extremely clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the free breakfast was really good. We were expecting nothing more than cereal and bagels to be available, but it was more than that. Also, I wish I had researched this hotel a little better, because I would have packed a bathing suit for their indoor pool 🙂

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. We had a King bedroom, which contrary to some reviews, was exceptionally clean and quiet. We had no issues. We did go to the front desk to ask for additional pillows, and within 5 minutes we had our pillows. Breakfast was the usual standard fare found in most hotels that offer free breakfast. There were plenty of choices, including cinnamon rolls. The hotel is convenient to the Seaport and downtown Mystic. We’ll definitely consider staying here on our return trips to the area.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Mystic and I can’t recommend it enough. The location is ideal—right across the street from Olde Mistick Village and within walking distance to several great restaurants. When we arrived, there was a mix-up with our reservation, but Wayne, the general manager, was incredibly helpful. He immediately reassured us that we would have a room and took the time to resolve the issue. Thanks to his efforts, he was able to locate our reservation and save the day. In addition to his exceptional service, Wayne also offered great restaurant recommendations. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Mystic!

Our family decided to do a Christmas trip, so we packed up our kids and hit 14 states in 5 days unplanned. This happened to be our first unplanned destination! We hit some snow and spent hours in a car and it was time to stop! We came across Mystic, CT and found this hotel off the freeway. It looked great and decided to give it a try. We booked it through IHG, we met Joel, everyone needs a Joel! What a welcome! He took care of us during our stay. We took the top floor 2 queen suite and had a great view of the town! Watched it snow! Swam in the pool with the kids. The hotel was clean. Our room was good! Mystic, had everything we didn’t know we were looking for. Cute town, got us all in the Christmas spirit! If it wasn’t so cold and snowing we could have done more walking but we chose to drive around and see what Mystic was all about. My kids wanted to try the luxury cinema (we heard about the heated seats)! We didn’t get a chance to stop, hopefully someone does and tells us all about it! Overall, Joel made our Connecticut experience for us and we had a nice stay!
