I was told before my wedding reception that the servers would have allergen info for the guests when asked. When one of my bridesmaids with severe nut allergy asked about the pesto, no one had an answer. She was told if she wasn't sure, she shouldn't eat it. The main contact/lead? for the day could not be found or reached by phone. I, the bride, stopped in the middle of dinner to call the event planner off-site who had the info and then informed the servers.

In addition, the servers made an executive decision without contacting me or the day-of coordinator to pass the lobster rolls because they were popular/getting eaten too fast. The server told me they wanted to make sure everyone got one, but half of our guests did not get one/didn't even realize it was available. At the end of the night, we found a aluminum tray full of lobster meat that could've been used to serve more guests.

There were other issues that were very disappointing, because during the planning phase I got the impression they were diligent and thorough despite having our event planner changed 3 times. When we contacted them re: the issues, they never acknowledged or apologized for their mishap about the allergen information, and had poor excuses for the rest of the issues.

Would not recommend this company.

We cannot say enough amazing things about David Alan Hospitality Group. They truly are the best in the business. Most importantly, the food was AMAZING and commented on by several guests that it was the best wedding food they have ever had -- we couldn't agree more!! The whole experience working with them was unbelievable. From our first inquiry, to our tasting and finally our day of planning we were blown away by the attention to detail and professionalism of the entire DA staff. Meghan made booking so easy and answered all of our questions! Rachael helped us coordinate every detail ahead of the wedding, Jenaya our day of coordinator made sure the day went completely seamlessly which I am forever grateful for. Beth, Patti, and the rest of our staff were so sweet and attentive. We really can't express how amazing they were and couldn't recommend David Alan Hospitality Group more. We hope to book them for another event in the future! I am still thinking about the Short Ribs from our wedding!

Words can not begin to describe how blown away we are by David Alan Catering. My husband and I are huge foodies and when I came to planning our wedding, good food was the top of our priority list. We did tastings with several caterers but when we did our tasting with David Alan we immediately knew they would hit it out of the park. We had people coming up to us at our wedding telling us how amazing the food was. And as if the food isn’t enough reason to book, the team is so kind and eager to help and flexible. They stopped at nothing to make sure our food vision came to life. David Alan is one of the best decisions we could have made when planning our wedding. The food was amazing and the staff were all very professional and accommodating throughout the entire process. They made everything so easy and seamless.
