I LOVE this thrift shop. All the people who volunteer their time to work there are nice friendly and fun. The items are shown in attractive ways. They dress the mannequins and change them up frequently. They even offer free candy. There is an entire library room that is compartmentalized by various sections……and they are free. They are open 6 days a week. Oh…. And their prices are GREAT!!!!!!

Who runs this place? First of all, I really do like this thrift store. The prices are on par with reasonable thrift stores, it's stock is fun, it's cute, it's local and it's not a conglomerate. HOWEVER, based on previous and a recent experience (4.18.24), many of the staff are unfriendly and untrained in proper customer service. This store operates on donations, but is not donor-friendly. Parking is treacherous and it is difficult to make donations because of the limited hours, the one small donation bin that is not secure and is out in the elements, and the frustrating parking for those who want to bring in bags and boxes to donate. To this end, I inquired if there was specific and safe parking for donors, and I asked if there was a bigger bin at a better location. Rather than being understanding and offering to bring my questions to a manager's attention, the staff member ignored my concerns and was completely offended by my questions, which she apparently took personally. In a manner typical with women of her generation, she deflected any opportunity to accept suggestions by changing the subject and making excuses in a scolding tone. Then, a nosy customer- who is clearly the busy-body type- started making excuses in conjunction with the staff member, and the two of them seemed to double-team me simply because they didn't like my questions. The staff member should have handled this situation in a professional manner by distracting the customer (although this person was probably a small-town friend of hers). Combined, their comments consisted of irrelevant topics such as "we're lucky to have this building," (maybe, but so what and how does this address my actual feedback about parking and donations?); or "I park in front of the building because I have a cane" (okay, I can understand that, but since YOU have now twisted the issue to be 'all about YOU,' then YOU could move YOUR car forward 4 feet so someone can park behind YOU without obstructing a driveway); or "I park across the street or at Town Hall (which is acceptable if YOU are not dropping off bags and boxes of donations and if YOU are not concerned about getting run over on Route 32). If you shop here, just know that the atmosphere is small town, gossipy and interfering, and the staff consists of older, local people with a constricted lens who treat customers and donors like perceived "naughty" children if they make realistic and legitimate observations and suggestions that offend these elders' 1950s sense of authority. It is unfortunate that I was unprofessionally and poorly treated while bringing in donations to support this shop. Nonetheless, I do hope that someone in the community will benefit from my lovely donations of high-quality clothing.

I LOVE our little thrift shop!!! It's always decorated for the season, the mannequins are dressed up so nice, it's clean and the staff are super helpful and friendly. It's my 2 teenagers favorite store. We donate several times a year and shop here too.

Update: workers were much friendlier the last time I visited. There was a sale that you get 2 big paper bags for $5.
had to take away a star because the last few times I came in I saw workers help themselves to donated items and not pay for them. I can understand workers having first pick, but they shouldn’t just take items. The whole idea of a community thrift store is to raise money for the community.
Great place. Inventory is always changing. New to you treasures can always be found. A great place to donate to also! All proceeds go towards helping the local community.

They used to be really good! But the staff quality has gone down hill. Honestly don’t remember a time I’ve ever gone in there and felt welcome. They don’t follow the hours online which is extremely inconvenient for people who work. Always closed now. Every time I’ve called to ask hours,(while being extremely polite) I’m greeted with NOTHING but attitude and general rudeness, for reasons UNKNOWN? If you hate being around people THAT much, find different volunteers? Plenty of kids looking for jobs and hours during the year. Used to be one of me and my friends favorite spots, honestly never again. :/

I went here for the first time today during a break between my college classes and I was highly impressed!! I go to many many thrift stores and this has to be one of my favs. I didn’t really know what to expect going in, but they have a great selection of clothing, books, decor, etc. There weren’t prices on anything I picked out but then I learned that it was fill a bag for $5! I got 6 different clothing items and a book that was free! All the workers were so kind and helpful to me! I’ll definitely be going back with some friends 🙂

A bit cluttered but the volunteers do a great job working to keep it organized. I always, always find treasures here and the prices cannot be beat. Have found vintage from the 30’s-70’s, antique kitchen appliances, gorgeous pottery, and many other great finds!

This place is GREAT! It doesn't have the size and scale of a Savers or Goodwill, to be sure, but the prices are amazing! Purses and shoes for $1, fill a bag of books for $1! I don't know if it was a special sale or what, but I'm DEFINITELY going back!
