We were going to go to another stable and found this one. Stony Lake Stables did a fantastic job with us. We had four in our group all together and our guide was a young lady who did a fantastic job leading us up and down the hills and around the corner to Grandma's house we went, lol they took very good care of us put our nerves at ease. We were told that the owner has over 400 acres, going through the hills in the woods we saw a ton of wildlife including a 12-point buck. I think we counted well over two dozen deer between does and bucks of all sizes. We ended up getting some merchandise afterwards. They have t-shirts and sweatshirts to purchase that were reasonably priced. My wash and daughter will be coming back for their turn. My daughter is an experienced barrel rider and she can't wait to go through the hills. They have a choice between 1 hour, and 1 hour and a half rides. We know they have horses of all different sizes, the group ahead of us was featuring 10 people along with two guides one in the front and one in the rear. The walk you through everything that you need to know and we're very caring. They also were willing to take as many photos with you and your horses in your group as much as possible. We were the last group to go out and they did not rush us off, whatsoever. That was so nice to have. When you spend your hard-earned money it's nice when they want to take care of you as best they can. Keep up the great work!

We booked a last minute trail ride for a group of young girls (7-10 years old) and everyone had a great time. Our guides were fun, helpful, and knowledgeable. The ride was easy and comfortable, but not boring (we saw several deer who had not a care in the world about our presence); and the scenery was lovely. Great way to spend and hour!

Enjoyed my experience from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure the group stayed together and we got on the horses safely. Kate was a riot. She didn’t listen to a word I said but they instructed me on how to use the reins and I had better control. So if it’s your first time riding a horse make sure to listen to the staff and remain calm. Be prepared for your thighs to hurt and have a place to nap afterwards 🤣

We enjoyed the time. Horseback riding was on my bucket list, and having my wife with me was amazing. Both of us really liked everything .
The horses are very friendly they know what to do, Pretty much enjoy the time.
The staff they are amazing, very friendly, definitely recommended and we will go back.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our trail ride! The guide was patient and made us feel very comfortable. The leaves were changing and we saw several deer along our path.

This was an amazing horse back riding experience, really beautiful trails, sweet staff and horses. Loved getting to feed them after that was our highlight for sure.

Just finished the 1.5 hour long ride with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time! Our guide Aspen was fantastic and answered our random questions the entire time. The horses are happy and healthy and we enjoyed learning their backgrounds. We really loved it and can’t wait to bring our family here.

This family business never disappoints! The guides are friendly, the horses are reliable and well cared for. The trails are secluded and the scenery is beautiful. We've been patrons for over 20yrs.
