Renters BEWARE!!!! I would not recommend renting the Aspen cabin from Jeff with Crystal Adventures! We had a horrible experience at this cabin. Upon arrival, we discovered a lady bug/beetle infestation. The dishes in the kitchen cabinets were dirty and also had beetles on them. The kitchen is also not a full kitchen as advertised. of the two bedrooms, one of them does not have heat, and the other one has a hidden baseboard heater which you are not made aware of. This resulted in us sleeping without heat before the first night. The bathrooms are absolutely filthy. Only 2 of us (out of 6 people) showered the entire weekend as the showers were very unclean. We had dog hair in the sheets of our bed. We realize mistakes can happen with cleaners so tried to work with the property owner, Jeff in hopes of working something out and issuing a partial refund for everything we encountered last weekend. He was very unprofessional and left us no choice but to contact AirBNB for help. After seeing our photos and videos, they agreed that we deserved a partial refund. I just wanted to help inform others to avoid renting from Crystal Adventures at all costs! It was a very unfortunate situation for our family. This “Karen” (as Jeff called me) has plenty of photos to back our issues we had experienced. It’s very unfortunate that Jeff chose to make this such a nasty situation in the end. Good luck to anyone who takes a chance with Crystal Adventures!

Excellent cabins, perfect for a family getaway. Jeff was a good communicator and made sure we were all set with our plans. The cabins are very nicely built and furnished. The bathroom is modern and includes good hot water / shower / hair dryer as well as shampoo and soap packets. Plenty of bedding / pillows / towels were provided as well. The small cabins include wifi, cable TV, mini fridge, and microwave as well. Although we didn't need it during our stay, the cabins have air conditioning as well. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Jeff was very accommodating, helpful and really wants you to have a good stay. I would highly recommend the cabins. We also went kayaking down the Betsie. Jeff pickup us up after our trip down the river and brought us right back to the cabins.

During a weekend trip to northern Michigan with a group of friends, several of us decided to rent snowmobiles for an afternoon. We made the reservations a couple weeks in advance. Having never rented sleds before, I had a lot of questions. Jeff was fantastic to work with - he shared info through email and was always available on his cell. He was extremely flexible and easy going about things. We had the BEST time! Jeff fitted us with helmets, provided us with a map and recommended route, gave us the rundown on trail signage, and showed us how to run the snowmobiles. I would HIGHLY recommend Crystal Adventures for your next winter or summer adventure!

Great ride from Crystal Adventures. Jeff pointed us to stunning trail through the woods, over streams and with plenty of open spaces to rip it up! Loved it! Can't wait to go back!

Great cabin, centrally located for fishing. Very helpful staff. We were here to fish but noticed they have many winter activities also. Highly recommend the cabins.
