Check in took awhile because they only had one employee handing a line of people at check in time. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The heater and A/C unit only worked on heat cycle. It was extremely warm when we walked in, we set it to cool and went down to the casino for about 4 hours and after returning to the room it had not cooled down at all. We opened the window to the 4 inches they allow and roasted all night. Hot water in the shower did not work, you got warm water. No one working the desk at check out.

My husband and I had a very nice stay here. Customer service was great. Room and bathroom were clean. The heater worked great. The beds were very firm but not horrible. Loved that they allowed pets. We really enjoyed playing at the horseshoe casino connected to lady luck. I like the fact that the hotel was cheaper, which left us with more money to play with in the casinos. We would stay again.

I recently visited the Black Hawk Lucky Lady Casino in Colorado and felt compelled to share my experience, especially since I’ve come across several negative reviews that don’t accurately reflect what I encountered.

First off, the ambiance of the casino is genuinely inviting. While some reviews claim it feels outdated, I found the decor charming and the atmosphere lively. The layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate between games and dining options.

Regarding the gaming experience, the variety was impressive. There’s a great mix of table games and slots, catering to all types of players. Contrary to some reviews suggesting a limited selection, I found plenty of engaging options to choose from, which kept the excitement alive throughout my visit.

As for service, I experienced nothing but friendliness from the staff. Many reviewers mention indifferent service, but I found the employees to be attentive and eager to help, enhancing the overall experience.

Lastly, the dining options exceeded my expectations. While some negative reviews criticize the food, I enjoyed a delicious meal with a good variety. The quality was far better than what I anticipated based on those critiques.

In conclusion, my experience at Lucky Lady Casino was fantastic, and I believe it deserves a more favorable reputation. For those considering a visit, I encourage you to see for yourself and not let the negative reviews deter you.

I just stayed at this hotel and although it was clean and pretty comfortable, it was so hot in the room. It was a blizzard outside and yet the room, (air being all the way cold) was still so hot. I should have looked at the reviews beforehand as it seems a lot of other people had this issue. We did call down and ask for a box fan which they brought up within 15 minutes which did help. Otherwise I liked the location and super convenient to walk to Horseshoe & Monarch as well. The Taco Cantina was closed the two days we were there, so we walked over to Brew Brothers at the Horseshoe which we really enjoyed. Employees seemed pretty nice as well.

The shower when pulling to making it work the entire faucet pulled away from the wall. Looked closer and could clearly see it wasn't chaulked. The top of the shower stall was dirty. The carpets between the tables and walls are extremely dusty, I was able to draw a line in it. The coffee maker was horrible. The bed was at least comfortable. I booked online and it stated a certain amount due at check in. I was shocked to hear a $75 deposit. Maybe I missed that part on check in. At least we'll get the deposit back. The hallway window was left open overnight not sure why but it was 38° last night. Maybe we will try again. Hopefully things will change. We've stayed there before so I know it has been better.

Rebecca at the front desk was very friendly and deserves to work for a better company. Neil was no help at all and is a perfect fit for a filthy place. Do NOT stay at this place. It is VERY DIRTY and the AC DOES NOT WORK and the filter has been neglected to be changed in a very long time. From reading other reviews this is obviously a common problem that they just offer a box fan as a solution so we did not want another room. They refused a refund after we told them we was not staying. We was not even inside the room for 30 minutes before we realized the ac did not work. I find it very hard for corporate to overlook these issues. I am very disappointed in Caesars. If Lady Luck Casino actually cared they would stop apologizing for the same problems for the last two years so don’t even give me a phone number to call.

Our time here was a crazy story and very rough for personal reasons, but the staff worked really hard to make our trip enjoyable. There was a language barrier with housekeeping that was hard until i realized I could use my phone, and after that, it was amazing. They all were very accommodating and so kind. Nam, the host at Blackhawk was top-notch. I hope you get a chance to meet him. Then the food.. Yes, Yes, Rubys steak house was FANTASTIC!! The steak was cooked to perfection and no joke, so tender i could cut it with a plastic fork. You WILL NOT be sorry earing here. The sandwich shop was okay. it's nothing special just sandwiches but it is convenient.

This was by far one of my worst experiences in a hotel. First we asked if we would be able to upgrade our two rooms into one when we got there. Theresa was checking us in and said that we would have to talk to the host about upgrading. There was zero attempt to reach out to the host to even see if it was possible and expected us to hunt down the host on the casino floor and ask ourselves. There is a resort fee of 16.00 for two small bottles of water and a couple cups of nasty coffee. I always thought these were complimentary in hotels There isn’t a pool to swim in or an exercise room. Rooms were clean but there were stains on the ceiling and the air conditioner in one room didn’t work and had a broken picture in the wall. When I asked Theresa at the check in counter if we could change rooms, all I got was a bad attitude and a cop out that the maintenance man had to look at the ac before switching rooms. No apologies or attempt to make the situation better for a paying customer. Maid service brought us up a box fan and the maintenance man came up for 30 seconds to tell us that it was working just fine. It definitely wasn’t working because the temperatures in the two rooms were totally different. One was cool and the other was baking. The door ti the room shocked every person that touched the door handle. If we would of had a pacemaker or something metal on us it could have been bad. They never changed us rooms. I tried to call down to the front desk three times to request to a late check out, but no one answered so I went back down. Surprise, surprise no one was there. I flagged down another employee and was told that I had to walk all the way across the casino floor and go down a flight of stairs to another section of the building and the people down there would pass along my request to the hotel. When I requested a late check out they told me it would be a $10.00 charge for a noon check out and a $20.00 for a 1 pm check out. I honestly was so frustrated that all u could do was walk away mad. I also decided to share my terrible experience with anyone who needs help deciding not to chose this hotel.
