My stay at Getaway Big Bear in Running Springs was truly a magnificent escape from the city. I and team spent two nights in a cozy cabin that was both charming and well-designed to blend with nature.

Surrounded by beautiful pine trees, the setting provided such a serene and peaceful atmosphere. I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying my morning coffee while watching the sun filter through the trees.

The cabin was equipped with all the essentials, and the large window next to the bed made it feel like I was right in the middle of the forest. The fire pit was a perfect touch for stargazing and keeping warm in the cool mountain air.

No signal here, disconnect for a while, sounds good. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

The view from the room was beautiful. The area was quiet and the air was fresh. However, the morning sun came through the window right by the bed. It was very hot and bright, so I couldn't sleep in the morning and had to wake up early. The house was called Caroline.

Stay for one, 10/10 would do it again✨

I was afraid to visit on my own but I felt pretty safe, the postcard cabin area is really nice, clean and quiet.

You have everything you need in cabin for wonderful glamping experience.

I have spectrum internet and had no problem getting reception during my stay.? I was a bit nervous about not having WiFi but was ready for it either way, the cabin had a landline so it’s nice.

I absolutely loved my view, though they all vary from what I could tell. So fyi you may get a super mounts view or a mix of forest as well. To me it was all worth it because wither way you’re right there in the mountains and the tall trees.

I so appreciate the fire pit, it was some of my favorite time spent there.

While you have neighboring cabins, each space has its own privacy so you don’t see or hear your neighbors even if you’re out at the same time.

Its definitely a pet friendly place.

As for me, I brought my hammock to hang on the near by trees.

I visited in December and the only wild animals I saw was a couple of deer. ? no harm at all.

Postcard cabin team is absolutely hospitable and available for your needs, very helpful.

The cabin does not have hair dryers it’s some safety reason so if you have long hair plan on drying your hair natural.

I absolutely did not want to leave, and wished I stayed an extra day.

What a wonderful time.?
Thank you Postcard cabin crew.✨

We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time! It's small but as expected/described and encouraged you to spend time outdoors. The cabin is cozy with a great view. My only request would be a mirror - even a small one so I can put in my contacts and such. It's fire season so no fire allowed but completely understandable. The service we needed was minimal but responsive and helpful. My husband loved the trail which they should promote more - we just stumbled upon it. The location is a bit far from local attractions - Lake Arrowhead is about 20 minutes away and Big Bear village about 40 minutes. We can't wait to return and hope all is well with the current fire activity!

I have to say first, that cabins are beautiful. We didn’t have a chance to try it because of the false advertising.

We were paying extra for the Mountain View because we were amazed by the pictures on their website. We were driving about 2 hours and were so excited to see it. When we arrived, we were in love with the place, right until we came in inside of the cabin and saw the view that was for the extra money. You can see the picture of our view. And Google pictures they promote.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful, but can you tell it’s a Mountain View? Or Is it more a forest view? Which cost less.

We tried to contact the management and explain that we paid for the Mountain View and it looks like there might be a mistake. When the manager at a place came, he told us that it’s just an advertisement. It doesn’t mean you will get the same cabin.

I totally understand that cabins are might be different, with a different angel of the view, but, how would you feel if you know that there are 10 or more cabins with a real Mountain View, but you got the one where is no mountain view? You paid extra for that and won’t get it. We took a small tour around. There are cabins with the good view. They just gave us the one without.
We asked for a refund, because our expectation based on their advertising weren’t met and our vacation time we’re flying out while we were trying to solve it.
The cabin cost was around $450 for 2 nights and they offered to return $45 out of $450!!!!
We left and found a house with an amazing view in 5 minutes driving distance from this place. It was the same view as on the pictures in their description.

Booked package with several nights’ bundle so this is not my first time visiting. However, compared to two years ago, their cabin becomes dirty, old, and unorganized. The bed is not clean and tidy, a super big spider crawling with much dusts filled whole cabin. The bed is worn so it feels super uncomfortable. The light is down but they have no service at all so no one is helping at night.

Although you have good view, can you invest some budget to keep a good cabin condition? Pretty disappointed.

Me with my wife wanted to relax with a stunning view. I booked my Mountain View cabin in advance. But after 3 hours driving I get this view. Please see attached pictures from the website and actual view from the cabin I got. All Mountain View cabins were occupied so they tried to give me that view.

I asked for refund. The guy said they will do it and also they will give me $45. I rented another airbnb with Mountain View and it really was Mountain View. As advertised. It’s amazing when you get what you ordered. Unfortunately getaway couldn’t provide what was is presented on their website.

It’s been a month I’m trying to get my money back. Is it something wrong with me? When I order salmon sushi, I expect to get salmon sushi, not shrimp sushi or something else.

So when I ordered Mountain View I expected to get Mountain View, not Forest views. Getaway couldn’t provide. They have very polite support. But it is not helpful.

I have no idea why they can’t return my money and forget about it. I didn’t use their cabins.
Instead of doing honest business they need to take my time and energy instead. Please return my $447.80

Thank you

Update: They refused to refund. I’ll have to go to customer protection or court.

This time I came with my friends. The room was in good condition. There was just enough room for two people to share a bed. The temperature was low at night, and there was heating in the room. I could sit and chat with my friends and family while watching the stars. Occasionally, wild deer appear.Dogs are also suitable here. Dog biscuits, bags, etc. are provided in the room. Nearby attractions recommend big bear lake. There are many water activities to play, but sometimes it is windy, and you need to pay attention to safety.
