Very accommodating staff. I used a gift card of sorts for a night stayed two. We loved it, planning a return trip next month.

I came to Trinity Lake mid-September on my way home after blowing a front fork seal on my motorcycle ride. It was mid afternoon when I decided to pull off down to the marina area and take a break, check out what the lake looked like, and then move on down the road. I stopped at the office and while talking to the lady I asked about the cabins and she said they were running low rates on everything due to the time of year. I ended up renting a cabin and a boat to go check out the lake. The cabin was $135 with tax and the boat was only $115 I think for a few hours on the water and then the cost of whatever fuel used. Cabin was small and nice, stocked with all kitchen ware and bathroom supplies, good view through the trees at the water. The boat was an older Bayliner but had a new 4 stroke engine and moved along at 35 mph. It was a great break from riding 1500 miles with a tank slapping bike.

My family and I rented a boat for a half day fishing trip. Trinity Lake is absolutely gorgeous. The staff at the Marina are wonderful. Kyle, a staff member we met in the Marina store was so kind and helpful who was very excited to share all of his fishing tips with my husband. Sharon at the register was very friendly and fun to talk to. She even had a great fishing stories to share. Aren is the staff member who helped us with our boat rental and he was very professional and easy going. He took our safety very seriously and I really appreciate that, especially when we went out on the lake with 3 kids. The staff here really make the difference and I really found them all just wonderful. The boat was clean and well maintained. We had a great time. I highly, highly recommend stopping here for some fun if you ever are lucky enough to find yourself in Trinity County.

Been coming to this lake my whole life, but recently our family started staying at Cedarstock in the cabins. Very clean space, lots of room for family, big patios you have dinner on, full kitchens. Really what more can you ask for in a cabin in the woods? The restaurant and bar is awesome with friendly staff, and if you need to hop back “on the grid” quick, there is wifi available by the office. But really, staying here is a lovely retreat from real life. We will be back soon!!

My sister and brother-in-law visited us this summer. They hadn’t been to Trinity in many years, and I wanted them to have a memorable time.
I called TLR&M. Everybody was really nice, and super helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the patio boat was—in great shape, super clean and comfortable. Fishing was rotten that day, but nobody cared.
We all had a great time. I thought a day on the lake would be perfect, and it was. Thank you everybody! We’ll see you next season.

Three of us stayed for two nights in the 6-person cabin and we loved it. The cabins were very comfortable and well stocked, the lake was gorgeous (though we didn’t catch anything during our stay here,) and everyone was very kind and accommodating. Happy to give five stars 🙂
note: they weren’t selling tobacco products in the small marina store “this season” so come prepared it could happen again.

I was a little nervous making the reservation reading the previous reviews, however took a chance, as I like too many trees and “rustic cabins, and the price was right. It was just what I expected, a cute rustic cabin with lots of trees. It was lovely and we had a great time. We had no troubles with the customer service, everyone was very nice. I will be going again, and plan on staying a little longer.

We reserved a 2-person cabin at Cedar Stock campground which is a short walking distance to the main marina below. We chose this spot because we own a boat and wanted to keep it in the marina. Unfortunately, I procrastinated in reserving a slip and discovered they were all taken when we arrived. So be sure and reserve a slip when you make a reservation so you don't have to pull your boat out every night if you don't have to. It was the 4th of July week, so that is the main reason they were all booked up. ||||The accommodation itself I would describe as more of a mobile home feel. It is a free standing building and It was one of about 8 small units located behind the main office at Cedar Stock. The room is a bit dated but that wasn't rellevent as long as it was clean and it was. It was a basic room with bath/shower, small kitchen and sleeping area with 2 full size beds. Everything was clean and the room came equipped with a few kitchen items, but was all we needed. Coffee maker and filters were provided as well. The fridge was nice and roomy. Beds were pretty comfy but I brought an extra down comforter on top and it was perfect. As a seasoned tent camper, this was a nice option. I can't say enough about how great the air conditioner worked! Very important since the weather was extremely hot as it should be when your on the lake and in the water all day, but in the evening it was refreshing to relax in a cool room. There is a picnic table and BBQ in the back with room for maybe 4-6 people. We were able to see a portion of the lake through the trees. Very pleasant! ||||I just want to say the staff couldn't have been friendlier and willing to help out when needed. I'm talking from the reservation desk, to the marina store to the staff on the premises keeping everything clean and orderly. Be aware you need to drive down to the marina store and get ice for coolers when needed. There isn't any near the room. We had a problem with our boat and the marina mechanic on duty walked up to our boat in the parking lot to diagnose our problem, fix it and then was nice enough to waive a fee! This on a 4th of July!! Unheard of! We had nothing but good service and a fantastic experience during our 4 night visit. I highly recommend this campground. There are other campgrounds nearby but I was glad we chose this one!||||There were only a few remarks I'd like to share that could use improvements or at least you should be aware of: the shower is pretty small and if your over 5 ft. it's a bit of a challenge. Hopefully they upgrade the shower head in that unit (#6) so it actually can adjust up or sideways. And lastly, the dock where you put your boat in at this marina is super narrow and since many families are there to rent houseboats, the wait can be really long as guests unload their heaps of belongings from their vehicles backed next to the dock, plugging up the 1 and only boat lane. Parking is crowded and it's a challenge during high peak times to find a parking place close-by with your trailer. if you need to put your boat in and out I highly suggest using the Clark Springs dock down the road. It's roomy with LOTS of parking and a set-up area. No waiting.
