Love this idea! I was able to host a tour and got to show a family from Denmark a little bit of Los Angeles. They enjoyed seeing the Hollywood sign from one of the best locations to take a photo. Also, the Walk of Fame, Santa Monica Pier, Venice canals and more. It was such a fun experience! The best part was getting to know them and telling them a little about me.

Our tour guide, Reema, was awaiting us at the front of our motel in Anaheim at 10:00 A.M. as planned. I knew we were in for a great tour when her first question was "What would you like to see in Los Angeles?"

My partner requested a stop at UCLA because his grandson will be entering that university next month. He also requested a visit to Venice because when he was the Art Director for Seafirst Bank in Seattle in the 1970's he met and purchased art for his bank from the popular artist, Sam Francis, who lived there at the time.

My request was Grauman's Chinese Theater, a famous tourist attraction where stars left their handprints, and some footprints, for all to see.......and also any other popular destinations that Reema had in mind and there were lots: the L.A. Farmer's Market where we purchased some fruit, Rodeo Drive that appears in many movies such as 'Pretty Lady" with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, The Beverly Hills Hotel and many more.

My partner's favorite stop during the tour was UCLA and mine was the canals in Venice. I had visited Venice a number of times while going to school in L.A. but I knew nothing about the canals until Reema introduced me to them. I found them most interesting and took lots of photos.

Reema was an experienced driver, especially during our trip back to Anaheim in the midst of late afternoon L.A. traffic. There was one more stop for us, and perhaps one of the most important. It was at a grocery store nearby our Best Western Motel where we could purchase some food for our dinner.

We had a great experience made even better by a wonderful guide/driver. Thank you, Reema!

We had a 9 hour layover in LAX flying from Toronto to Hawaii. I searched for things to do from LAX airport and I came across LayoverStop. We contacted them and immediately received a response from Sara, who arranged everything for us. It was a great decision. They picked us up from the arrival terminal (we kept our carryon bags with us). We wanted to eat at the Grove and then go up to see the Hollywood sign. Our tour guide was so sweet and friendly. Jessy customized the tour for us according to what we wanted to see considering traffic and all. We highly recommend the service if you have a long layover. This sightseeing company doesn't charge an arm and a leg for a private experience so the value is different there and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend it.

What an amazing time! I really wanted to surprise my fiancé with a well planned tour and that it how I came across Layover Stop Tours. Our tour guide picked us up from the airport and we went on a 5 plus hour tour of Los Angeles, Rodeo drive, Hollywood Blvd., has lunch in Beverly Hills, and got iconic views of the Hollywood Sign!!! This tour was beyond amazing. The tour guide was beyond knowledgeable of the area , we didn’t sit in any traffic, we had no waits, and we had the best time. I passed other people on tours and felt sad for them because it was seriously hot out and they had to wait in lines and had to have a crowded group tour with not so great views. I am looking forward to our next trip to California. Thank you for providing such an amazing service.

Booked online same day in the morning.
Was charged.
Got a confirmation and a ticket and then as I called as the pick up was 30 min late was told a rude way that they don t accept same day booking !
I lost my time waiting
Absolutly not recommand this company !
