This is going to be EXTREMELY thorough.

Bottomline: I do not recommend this agency at all. The guides were clueless and they all had different and misleading information.

Here’s a day-by-day breakdown.

The itinerary: 6 nights 7 days (6/28-7/4).

Day 1
What Top Travel agency agreed to:
1. Depart Dulles Airport at 7:30am EST and arrive at Seattle at 12:30 EST
2. Tour the Boeing Field, Mariners Stadium, Seahawks stadium, Space Needle, Lake Union, and Washington University

What actually happened:
1. Bus that was supposed to pick up all the tourists were late by over an hour. The driver blamed it on the traffic. The bus service that Top Travel provided was EXTREMELY old. I’ve never seen any old bus like this. The bus was literally infested with bugs. Tires needed to be replaced as well. I felt dangerous and disgusted being on that bus the entire trip.
2. We did not tour any of the destinations that were included in the itinerary. The tour guide simply pointed out the window as we drove by, “The Boeing field is to your right, and that over there is the Seahawks stadium, etc. The only time we got off the bus was to have our meals.
3. I understand that seeing all those destinations in one day can be a lot, but as the TRAVEL AGENCY, they should have planned it better instead of delivering false promises. I also understand that things can change, but this was not just a "change" or substitution - we were simply just on the bus.
4. We headed over to Canada and arrived around 10pm EST.

Day 2
What Top Travel Agency agreed to:
1. Tour Maligne Lake (Jasper National Park)

What actually happened:
1. Each tourist paid additional $95 to tour Top Maligne Lake
2. Stayed at Crestwood Hotel Hinton

Day 3
What Top Travel Agency agreed to:
1. Tour Athabasca Glaicer via Snow Coach, tour Peyto Lake, and tour Lake Louise
What actually happened:
1. Tour Athabasca Glacier via Snow Coach, tour Peyto Lake
2. The tour guide pushed Lake Louise to the following day
a. Very questionable decision by the tour guide. The hotel was located in Calgary, which was located 3+ hours from the Icefield Parkway (Athabasca Glacier, Peyto Lake, and Lake Louise). So when we went back to Lake Louise the next morning, we spent 3+ hours heading back the same direction.

Day 4
What Top Travel Agency agreed to:
1. Banff Gondola, visit shopping center, visit Emerald Lake

What actually happened
1. Went back to Lake Louise, went to Banff Gondola, visited shopping center, visited Emerald lake

Day 5
What Top Travel agency agreed to:
1. Visit Stanley Park and visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

What actually happened:
1. Visited Stanley Park
2. Went on the Capilano Suspension Bridge (additional $60 per person). The suspension bridge was by the entrance of the park, but the tour guide ended the tour immediately after crossing the bridge. The tour guide said that there were too many people to waste time at the park. Poor time management by Top Travel agency

Day 6
What Top Travel agency agreed to:
1. Visit Victoria downtown (Chinatown, Inner Harbor)
2. Visit Butchart Garden
3. Head back to Seattle
4. Visit Public Market, Pioneer Square

What actually happened:
1. Visit Victoria downtown
2. The guide said there was no time for Butchart Garden
a. The suspicious thing here is that the tour guide never collected fee from the beginning of the trip for Butchart Garden as if he already knew that that wasn’t going to happen from Day 1
3. Did not visit Public Market, Pioneer Square
a. In short, they never toured Seattle unlike what was promised in the itinerary

Day 7: Head back home (Dulles Airport)
1. The Top Travel agency representative who came to assist tourists (keep in mind, most of the tourists were seniors who spoke little English), had no clue on what he was doing. He provided misleading information on what could be boarded on the plane so many of the tourists ended up having their souvenir confiscated at the airport.

I purchased two airline tickets to go to Eastern Europe as a group travel deal before covid. Since I can’t travel to Eastern Europe last year, I requested to get refund. Top travel, Centreville said they can’t give all the money I paid back since United is not refunding the full money. I’ve traveled with United, delta and American during COVID, and all the airlines were very responsive and gave the air fare credits if I can’t travel. Top travel took $800 out of my $2000, and said there is nothing they can do. I called United and they told me they can’t give the credit since the airline tickets were purchased as an agency deal. So my guess is top travel took the money and couldn’t give full refund. I knew they were lying about United is not refunding the full money. Top travel is not a trustworthy company.
